| | چکیده : | In this University Atlas, the 176 pages of predominantly physical maps give comprehensive and extensive coverage of the world at a valuable level of detail. Over the years the map content has been periodically re-examined and revised to reflect new areas of interest and to improve the overall balance of the atlas. For the nineteenth edition, for example, new maps were provided to cover the Indian Ocean, oil and gas interests in the North Sea, the French departments, Alaska and California. In addition to the physical coverage, thematic maps show climate, population, and geology on a world scale and, for many parts of the world, on a continental basis as well.
